  • 3 cups of flour for tamales
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion
  • 250 grams of Mole

Preparation

  1. Cook the chicken breast in water and add medium chopped onion and salt. Remove, shred the chicken breast and set aside. Save the chicken broth.
  2. Whisk the butter, add the flour and a little chicken broth to form a dough and set aside.
  3. Heat the Mole in a pot and add a little more of the chicken broth to get a sauce.
  4. Clean the banana leaves and boil them. Remove the banana leaves from the water and cut into squares.
  5. Take a banana leave square, put some dough, add the shredded chicken and the sauce over, and cover with more dough. Close the banana leave with four folds and try to give them a square form.
