How to Cook with Argo: To thicken hot liquids first mix Argo Corn Starch with a little cold water until smooth, gradually stir in hot liquid until blended. Stirring constantly, bring to boil; boil 1 minute. 1 tbsp Argo Corn Starch = 2 tbsp flour. Argo Corn Starch has twice the thickening power of flour. When a gravy, sauce or soup calls for flour, use half as much corn starch to thicken. To Make Cake Flour: For 1 cup cake flour combine 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp all-purpose flour with 2 tbsp Argo Corn Starch.
