Cooking. 1. Bring one gallon of water to a boil. 2. If desired, add one tablespoon of salt to boiling water. 3. To cook al dente, place rotini into boiling water and stir occasionally for eight (8) minutes. 4. Drain in a colander. Do not rinse! Serve immediately with your favorite sauce.
