Gluten Free Yellow Cake Recipe (Two Layer Cake): You Will Need - 15 oz Package of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free Cake Mix; 3 large eggs (or egg substitute); 1 stick or (1/2 cup) melted butter; 2 teaspoons of gluten free vanilla, 3/4 cup milk (milk substitute or water). 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Lightly spray pans with non-stick release agent. 3. Combine butter, milk (milk substitute or water), eggs (or egg substitute) and gluten free vanilla in a mixing bowl and whisk or stir until combined. 4. Slowly add 1 package of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free Cake Mix to liquid mixture from step 3. Stir with spatula or large spoon until a batter forms. (Do not overmix.) 5. Pour equal amounts of batter in two 8 inch prepared pans. Tap pans on counter repeatedly to even batter throughout pans. 6. Place pans on middle rack of oven and bake for 23-25 minutes. 7. Let cakes cool completely before icing. Gluten Free Chocolate Cake (Two Layer Cake): 15 oz package of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free Cake Mix; 3 eggs (or egg substitute); 1 stick or (1/2 cup) melted butter; 2 teaspoons of gluten free vanilla; 1 cup milk (milk substitute or water); 1/2 cup of cocoa; 1/4 cup sugar. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Lightly spray pans with non-stick release agent. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, milk (milk substitute or water), eggs (or egg substitute), gluten free vanilla and whisk together until combined. 4. In a separate bowl, combine one package of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free Cake Mix, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of cocoa. Stir until combined. 5. Take liquid mix from step 3 and pour slowly into dry mix from step 4. 6. Pour equal amounts of batter in two 8 inch prepared pans. 7. Tap pans on countertop repeatedly to even batter throughout pans. 8. Place pans on middle rack of oven and bake for 28-30 minutes. 9. Let cakes cool completely before icing. Gluten Free Cupcakes: 1 package of Gluten Free Cake Mix; 3 eggs (or egg substitute); 1 stick or (1/2 cup) melted butter; 2 teaspoons of gluten free vanilla; 3/4 cup milk (milk substitute or water). Yield: Approx 10 cupcakes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 1. Lightly spray cupcake pan with non-stick release agent or use cupcake wrappers. 2. Combine butter, milk (milk substitute or water), eggs (or egg substitute), and gluten free vanilla in a mixing bowl and whisk or stir until combined. 3. Slowly add 1 package of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free Cake Mix to liquid mixture from step 2. 4. Stir with spatula or large spoon until batter forms. (Do not overmix.) 5. Scoop batter with large spoon and fill each cupcake tin 3/4 fill. 6. Place cupcake pan on middle rack of oven and bake for 28-30 minutes. Note: Be sure all ingredients are gluten free!
