Yield: Serves 4 amply. Other Items Required: 1/2 cup (4 oz) butter or margarine, 1/4 cup (2 fl oz) white wine (optional), 1 lb or more of any of the following, singly or in combination: peeled shrimp, crabmeat, crayfish tails, lobster, scallops, langostinos, diced cooked chicken meat. Serve over cooked rice, noodles or as a sauce with fish or poultry. 1) Rehydrate sauce mix in 1 cup (8 fl oz) water. Allow to set for five minutes. 2) Slowly add rehydrated mixture to 1/2 cup (4 oz - 1 stick) melted butter or margarine stirring until mixture is well blended. Simmer over low flame for five minutes. 3) Allow mixture to steep 5 minutes. Add wine (optional) and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for five minutes-stirring as required. If a thicker, richer sauce is desired cover and simmer additional time until desired thickness is achieved. Remove from heat and allow to set for several minutes prior to serving.
