You Need: 1 package, Dromedary Pound Cake Mix; 3/4 cup milk; 2 eggs; 2 tablespoons softened butter. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Combine cake mix, milk, eggs and softened butter in a large mixing bowl with deep sides. Beat 3 to 4 minutes on medium speed using an electric mixer (If using a professional style mixer, decrease mixing time by up to one minute), scraping sides of bowl until batter is thick and very smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Loosen edges with thin spatula; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream and strawberries, if desired. High Altitude Baking: (Over 3500 feet) add 1/4 cup flour, 1 tablespoon additional milk and increase baking time by 5 minutes. For 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch loaf pans; divide batter evenly into two pans to avoid overflow. 9 x 5 inch Loaf Pan: Bake 50-55 minutes. 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch Loaf Pan: Bake 60-65 minutes. Bundt or Tube Pan (2 Mixes): Bake 60-65 minutes. 8 x 1-1/2 inch Round Cake (2 Pans): Bake 25-30 minutes. 12-Hole Muffin Pan: Bake 25-30 minutes. Lamb or Other Mold Pan: Bake approximately 50-55 minutes.
