You Will Need: 1 egg. 6 tbsp (3/4 stick) butter, softened. 2 cookie sheets. Note: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for a shiny metal baking sheet. 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for a dark non-stick metal sheet. Makes 24 cookies. 1. Blend it! Cream butter and egg in a mixing bowl, using an electric mixer. Stir in cookie mix until soft dough forms. 2. Drop it! Drop dough in tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. 3. Bake it! Bake at 375 or 350 for 9-12 min. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove cookies with a spatula to a cooling rack; cool completely. Enjoy!
