Since 1785. Grown, milled and produced in Ireland. Enjoy the taste of Ireland's favorite oatmeal. Imported. Easy to cook in 3 minutes. Ireland's No. 1 oatmeal. What makes Flahavan's oatmeal taste so good? The answer is simple - tradition. At the Flahavan family mill in Co. Waterford, we have over 200 years expertise in milling oats. Our oats are grown and harvested locally and produced in small batches to capture the rich, delicious flavor that is our original Irish oatmeal. What's the difference? Our taste is the difference. Our whole grain oats are grown locally by Irish farmers. At harvest time each year, we take in our new season's oats at the mill, drying and storing them with special care for the year ahead. Our unique way of milling is what gives our oats their full rich texture, sealing in the natural aroma and giving our oatmeal its distinctive creamy taste. This is why we're Ireland's favorite oatmeal. Make breakfast naturally healthy and special. When we eat well, we feel good - it's as simple as that. Oats are full of natural goodness. Oats are naturally low in saturated fat and are a good source of fiber. 3 grams of soluble fiber from oatmeal daily in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease. Flahavan's Irish Oatmeal contains 1 gram of soluble fiber per serving. Environmentally friendly production. Flahavan's Irish Oatmeal is produced at the family mill with an environmentally friendly approach. We begin by recycling the outer shell of the oats to generate energy used by the kiln. We also use water from the original millstream on the River Mahon to generate electricity to power the mill. This box is made from cardboard that is 100% recyclable. - John Flahavan.
