Rice: 1/2 cup; Water/Broth: 1-1/8 cups; Yield: 1-1/2 cups; Servings (1 Cup Cooked): 2. Rice: 1 cup; Water/Broth: 2-1/4 cups; Yield: 3 cups; Servings (1 Cup Cooked): 4. Rice: whole package; Water/Broth: 5-1/3 cups; Yield: 7-1/2 cups; Servings (1 Cup Cooked): 10. On the Stove: 1. In medium saucepan bring water or broth to a boil (Add margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Stir in rice, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 40 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. In the Microwave (It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate): 1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 1 cup wild rice and 2-1/4 cups water or broth (Add margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes, reduce setting to 50% power, microwave for 35 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve.
