Store in a cool dry place. Smoky Chipotle Chili Preparation: 1 packet Laurie's Kitchen Gluten Free Smokey Chipotle Chili Mix; 3 cups water; 1/2 lb ground meat (beef, pork or turkey); 1 - 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (do not drain). In a large pot, crumble and brown ground meat. Drain fat and set aside. In the same pot, whisk together the chili mix and water. Add diced tomatoes and browned meat. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 25-30 minutes (or until beans and vegetables are tender), continuing to stir frequently. For variety, add diced green chilies and top with grated cheddar cheese. Slow cooker can be used following the same directions. Simply brown the meat in a skillet before adding it to the chili mix. Cook 4-6 hours on high setting or 8-10 hours on low setting.
