Cooking: In a large pot, combine 3.5 lbs of peeled shrimp, 1 lb crab meat and 1 gallon of water. Bring to a boil. In a separate bowl whisk 1 bag (1 lb) Gumbo Mix with half gallon of cold water. Add cold gumbo mixture to pot, bring to boil, then serve. Cooked chicken and sausage may be substituted in place of seafood. Yields: 1.7 gallons or 27 - 8 oz servings.
