Serving Suggestions: Try Luzianne Chicken Coating Mix on your favorite chicken pieces, or bone and cut meat into chunks for golden chicken nuggets (Turkey and pork are great substitutes!). Chicken Preparation: 1. Moisten chicken pieces with milk or water, shake off excess liquid (For extra crispness, add egg to mixture). 2. Pour Luzianne coating mix into a plastic or paper bag. Place 1 or 2 pieces at a time in bag; Shake until chicken is evenly coated. Bake: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wipe bottom of shallow baking pan with oil or use rack in pan or spray with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Arrange coating chicken skin side down in single layer in pan. Bake for 20 minutes, turn pieces and bake for another 25 minutes or until tender. Remove from pan and drain (Oven and portion sizes vary; times given are approximate). For crispier chicken, start with a 425 degree oven and reduce to 400 degrees after 20 minutes. Deep or Pan Fry: 1. Preheat oil in frying pan or deep fryer to 350 degrees. 2. Place coated chicken in hot oil; fry until golden brown on both sides, turning as needed. Microwave: 1. Use microwave safe rack or paper towels in a microwave safe baking dish. 2. Arrange coated chicken in a single layer in pan or on rack with thick pieces toward the edge and thin pieces toward the center. 3. Cover with single layer of paper towel. Cook on high power for 8-10 minutes per pound or until tender. Check each piece individually for doneness (Oven and portion sizes vary; times given are approximate). Helpful Hint: After microwaving, for extra crispness, place chicken in oven safe dish and broil for 3 minutes or until golden.
