Before cooking, please read inside label for helpful tips. Ingredients Needed: 1 chopped bell pepper, 1/8 to 1/3 cup olive oil. Serve as a soup topped with raw onion and/or sour cream, or serve on rice. Stove Top: (1) Pick through and wash beans. (2) Add 6 cups water, boil 1 minute, turn off heat, let stand 1 hour. (3) Boil gently 1 hour or until beans are soft. Stir occasionally and add water as desired. (4) Add ingredients and seasoning (to taste). (5) Cook 1 hour until done and desired thickness is obtained. Crock Pot: (1) Pick through and wash beans. (2) Soak overnight in cool water. (3) Drain. Put beans in crock pot with 2-1/2 cups water, ingredients, and seasoning (to taste). (4) Cook until done per crock pot instructions.
