Before cooking, please read inside label for helpful tips. Ingredients Needed: 1 large chopped onion, 1 medium chopped bell pepper, 2 cups tomatoes chopped fine (fresh or canned), 1/8 to 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil, 1/4 cup rice. Stove Top: (1) Pick through and wash lentils. (2) Add 4-1/2 cups water. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer. (3) Add ingredients (except rice) and seasoning (to taste). Cook 30 minutes. (4) Add rice. Cook 30 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally and add water as desired. Crock Pot: (1) Pick through and wash lentils. (2) Put lentils in crock pot with 4-1/2 cups water, ingredients and seasoning (to taste). (3) Cook until done per crock pot instructions.
