The Sweet Life: Take one honey enthusiast; team him up with some local, hard-working honeybees and you've got a recipe for something harmonious. Although Madhava started with honey, it's more than 40 years later and mother nature is still lending us a hand in making the most delectable, organic and non-GMO products around. Since those early days our efforts have blossomed beyond honey. We've taken our love of all-natural sweeteners and created delicious new products using ingredients you'd find in your own kitchen. We know how important our sweeteners are to making the best tasting treats around. From breakfast to baked goods, croissants to coffee; we've got a purely scrumptious product to fit the bill. Because your sweet tooth deserves better than chemicals and artificial preservatives. Pure. Natural. Scrumptious. Sweet! Happy birthday in a Box: When a happy birthday is on the line, any old cake mix just won't do. Birthdays deserve the best ready-to-make cake you can busy. Madhava Organic Cake Mix is made of all-natural ingredients including delicious, sustainably grown and harvested organic coconut sugar, and nutritious ancient whole grains farro, spelt and Kamut. All the good stuff happy birthdays are made of. Sweet! Ancient Grains: When you're making an organic baking mix that rivals homemade, only the best all-natural ingredients will do. That's why we don't use just any old grain in our baking mixes. We hunted and gathered and selected the most delectable organic ancient grains to complement our mixes, going to the ends of the earth and the beginning of time for these baking delights. (Full disclosure: we didn't do any time travel, but we did taste and test ancient grains that have been preserved through the ages.) Ancient grains have been a diet staple for thousands of years with good reason: They are rich in nutrients, less chewy than other whole grains and have less gluten than modern wheat flour, What's not to love?! We would like to introduce you to our new (ancient) favorites: Kamut - Believed to be of Egyptian origin, this ancient grain is higher in protein than many other whole grains. And it's a good source of selenium, zinc, magnesium, and iron. Spelt - A prehistoric ancestor of modern wheat, spelt is an excellent source of manganese and a good source of fiber, vitamin B3, and protein. Farro - This whole grain has been enjoyed since ancient Roman times. One taste and you'll see why. It has a delicious nutty flavor and delicate taste. Certified Organic by: Colorado Dept. of Agriculture. Vegan. We keep it clean. Nothing artificial here, including GMO's. We are committed to providing non-GMO products to our consumer. That's why our new baking mixes are not just organic, they are also non-GMO. We hand picked the very best ingredients for our mixes - including organic & non-GMO grains, sweeteners and flavors - just like the ingredients you'd find in your own kitchen. We'd love to hear from you! Paperboard packaging. 100% recycled fibers. Sustainable Forestry Initiative: certified sourcing. www.sfiprogram.org. Carton made with wind energy.
