For thinner cereal add more water), 1/8 tsp salt (optional), 2/3 cup Maltex. 4 Servings: 4 cups water (For thicker cereal add less water. For thinner cereal add more water), 1/4-tsp salt (optional), 1-1/3 cups Maltex. Stove Top: Heat water and salt to a rapid boil. Slowly stir in Maltex. Reduce heat to a moderate boil. Cook 2-1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Let sit until desired consistency, about 1 minute. Stir before serving. Microwave (1 Serving): Combine water, salt and Maltex in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high until boiling, about 2 minutes; stir. Reduce power to medium-low. Microwave for 1-3/4 minutes.
