Combine: 1 cup water. 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter or margarine. Heat together just until the butter melts! Add: 1 egg, slightly beaten. 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract. Gently blend together with a whisk while slowly adding the cake mix. Please do not overblend! Place in an 8 inch square greased baking pan. Bake: at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Test with a wooden toothpick. Cool on wire rack or in pan. Refrigerate after baking. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream & top with Martha's Killer Chocolate Sauce!
