Raisin Scones Bread Full Bag 12 oz Mix: 2/3 cup (5 fl oz) milk (buttermilk, whole or reduced fat milk); 3 tbsp (1-1/21 oz) softened butter; beaten egg to glaze (optional). Simple 5 Step Guide: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. 2. Empty the contents of pack into a mixing bowl and using your fingertips, blend the softened butter through the mix until it resembles breadcrumbs. 3. Add the milk and lightly mix to form a soft dough. 4. Place dough onto a floured surface and roll out to 3/4 inch thick. Cut into rounds or squares and place on a lightly floured baking tray. 5. Brush top surfaces with beaten egg (optional), if desired sprinkle with sugar and place on the middle shelf of a preheated oven. Bake for approximately 16 minutes until well risen and golden brown.
