Pamela's Irresistible Brownies: Original Oil Recipe: 1 bag of Pamela's Brownie Mix; 1/2 cup oil; 1 egg, large; 1/4 cup water. Butter Recipe: 1 bag of Pamela's Brownie Mix; 1/3 cup oil; egg, large; 1/4 cup water; 6 tbsp butter (softened). Cake-Like Brownies: Add additional 1/4 cup water to Original or Butter Recipe and mix thoroughly. Fudgiest Brownie Recipe: 1 bag of Pamela's Brownie Mix; 1/2 cup oil; 1/3 cup water. Oil-Free Brownie Recipe: 1 bag of Pamela's Brownie Mix; 1/4 cup water; 1/2 cup applesauce; 1 egg, large. Egg-Free Cake-like Brownies: 1 bag of Pamela's Brownie Mix; 1/2 cup oil; 1/4 cup water; 1/2 cup applesauce, soft tofu, or prepared; egg replacer equal to 2 eggs. Optional Ideas: 1/2 cup nuts and/or chocolate chips. Mixing and Baking Directions: Yield: one 8 or 9 inch square pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease pan. Slowly incorporate all ingredients with a fork, batter will be thick. Do not over mix. Pour into pan, smoothing evenly to the edges. Bake for 18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of brownies comes out with slight crumbs. Some recipes need extra bake time. Do not over bake.
