Stove Top: Boil 2 cups water in a small saucepan, add 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil, and 1 cup of quinoa. Reduce heat to low, cover loosely. Cook for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Turn off heat & let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Microwave: Place 1 cup of the quinoa in a microwave safe container, add 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable or olive and 2 cups water, cover loosely. Cook on high for 5 minutes. Reduce hat to medium and cook for 8 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
