SanaSana Code of Norms and Responsibilities

All approved suppliers, staffing or recruiting agencies that have or want to have any kind of business relation with SanaSana, must comply will all United States Department of Labor Rules and Regulations and all applicable laws of the countries in which they are doing business, as well as all the points of the SanaSana Code of Norms and Responsibilities.

ZERO Tolerance Of Child Labor: SanaSana does not tolerate the use of children in the workforce. SanaSana as well as all approved suppliers, staffing or recruiting agencies must be committed to follow all United Nations International Conventions on child labor. The United Nations defines a child as anyone below the age of 18 years. The Convention on the Rights of the Child indicates the basic human rights that children everywhere should have, including the right to protection from economic exploitation (Article 32) and the right to education (Article 28). ZERO Tolerance Of Involuntary Labor: All SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers are free to leave work and terminate their assigned functions with reasonable notice. SanaSana, approved suppliers, staffing or recruiting agencies do not use forced labor (people in prison, indentured, bonded or otherwise). SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers are not required to submit government issued identification, passports, or work permits as a condition of employment.

Equal Conditions of employment: All SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers are employed based on their individual’s ability to do a specific job, and not on their personal characteristics or beliefs. SanaSana does not allow discrimination of any kind under any circumstance. All SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers have equal conditions of employment (job applications, promotions, job assignments, training, wages, benefits, and termination) no matter their race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, political opinion, pregnancy, marital or family status or similar factors . SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers or applicants are not subject to medical tests that could be used in a discriminatory manner.

Legal Right To Work: All SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers must comply with the immigration and labor laws of the country where they work.

Wages, Earnings & Benefits: SanaSana, approved suppliers, staffing or recruiting agencies must pay their workers on time (based on a prior agreement) and comply with United States federal and state laws or labor laws of the country where they are located. Every worker is entitled to receive monetary compensation for their work including overtime pay.

Maximum working hours: Excluding abnormal or situations requiring immediate action, SanaSana employees, approved suppliers' workers, staffing or recruiting agencies’ workers workweek, and pre-approved overtime, must not surpass 60 hours, and will include at least one day off for every seven-day work period. Working hours may not exceed the maximum amount permitted by law.

Safety at the workplace: SanaSana, approved suppliers, staffing or recruiting agencies must comply with safe and optimal conditions at the workplace. All working stations must be:

- Free of hazardous materials exposure.

- Have easy access to unlocked emergency exits.

- Equipped with first aid kits and safety gear

- Equipped with security systems, such as security cameras and fire alarms.

- Equipped with inspected machines and basic tools to help workers maximize their production.

- Equipped with air conditioning and heater systems.

- Have access to a break room.

- Have access to men and women restrooms.
