- In saucepan, combine contents of packet with 2/3 cup water and stir.
- Add two 15 oz cans of black beans, drained. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add 1/2 pound cooked Andouille sausage, sliced.
For more kick, add a little cayenne pepper or cider vinegar to each bowl.
For thinner sauce, add additional water, as desired.
Serve over cooked rice.
