What You Need: 2-1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken pieces, beef or pork ribs; 1 tbsp white or brown sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 cup water. Preparations: 1. Blend seasoning, sugar, soy sauce, and water; set aside. 2. Pierce meat with fork in several places. 3. Bake, grill, broil or microwave until partially cooked. 4. Brush generously with sauce and continue cooking until done, basting frequently. Makes about 5/8 cup sauce as prepared above. For best flavor, baste frequently with sauce during cooking.
