Easy and Energy Saving Cooking: Cook 1 to 2 minutes in boiling water and stir gently. Switch off stove. Cover pot for about 17 minutes. Ready to serve. The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking. Stovetop Cooking: Put one package of pasta into 4.5 quarts of boiling water and add a tablespoon salt (if desired). Stir occasionally and cook medium-high on range for 14-15 minutes (see also easy and energy-saving method) or until desired tenderness is reached. Rinse with cold water for a superb texture.
