In saucepan with tight-fitting lid, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tbsp of butter or margarine or olive oil (optional), then contents of this package. Stir while boiling for 1 minute. Cover saucepan tightly, reduce heat to simmer and cook undisturbed for 20-25 minutes. Fluff lightly with fork to distribute seasoning. Serve. Variations: At the beginning of step 2 add pieces of leftover chicken, meat or seafood. Any one of these ingredients or even your favorite vegetables will complement this versatile dish. Microwave: Combine contents of this package, 2 cups hot tap water and 1 tbsp butter or margarine or olive oil (optional) in a 1 & 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high 3 minutes. Reduce to 50% power and microwave 20-22 minutes longer, or until most of water is absorbed. Remove, and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff and serve.
