Total Time: 5 minutes. Makes 2 cups. You Will Need: 1 pkg Zatarain's Creole Red Gravy Mix; 2 cups cold water. 1. Stir water gradually into gravy mix with whisk in medium saucepan. 2. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Gravy will continue to thicken upon standing. Microwave: Stir water into gravy mix in 1-1/2 quart microwavable bowl or dish. Microwave, uncovered, on high 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. Flavorful Tips: Serve over cooked spaghetti or other pasta, baked or fried chicken, fish, shrimp, smoked sausage, roast beef or steak with rice. Homestyle Red Gravy: Add 2 tbsp tomato paste and 1 tbsp olive oil to gravy mix and water. Prepare as directed. Creamy Red Gravy: Use 1 cup milk and 1 cup water. Prepare as directed.
